Sep 24, 2013· Jack Schmidling's malt mill has very long rollers. A lot of surface area for pulling in grain. I have heard good things about their longevity, too. I have a monster mill and it seems solid enough, too. But I have never seen the Barley Crusher in person to compare it.
I've been doing a lot of research and am trying to decide on a grain mill to purchase. I'm currently torn between the Barley Crusher ($140ish before shipping) and a 3 roller Monster Mill ($240ish before shipping. Money isn't a huge factor. I want quality and I want it to last.
